Dr. Akash N Patwari .,  is graduate and  post graduate in  Chemical  Engineering  from  Osmania University in 1972 &1975 respectively .

Immediately after M.Tech  from Osmania University, he joined IICT ( Indian Institute of Chemical Technology., Formerly known as  Regional research laboratories  ), a prestigious Research Institute of Govt. of India  in various capacities right from Senior scientific Assistant to Scientist E1 for a period of 21 years.

During his tenure in IICT  he has contributed to the process development of pesticides and organic intermediates and commercialization of the technologies. He has visited many countries as a part of research and development activities. He was awarded fellowship under CSIR –DAAD scheme for his research studies in Germany in the year 1981. At the culmination of fellowship program he was awarded Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering from Oldenburg University Germany in the year 1983 with distinction.

Dr.Patwari has got published 20 papers in National and International journals, and guided many number of people in Research projects which lead to Doctorate degrees. His research work lead to obtaining of patents for different Products and Process by IICT(CSIR).

Dr. Patwari has taken Voluntary retirement from IICT  13 years before superannuation on the request of several  prestigious  industries in INDIA and worked in  different   senior management  and technical  positions.

His Passion to imparting high quality education and continued persuit of excellence in the areas of science and Technolgy  directed him to Anurag engineering college .

Principal's Message

At ANURAG my vision is to develop technology orientation and analytical capabilities of every student. Anurag is committed to provide students with a strong, broad based fundamental engineering education and prepare the students for careers in industry, teaching and other research organisations. We also plan to develop entrepreneurial skills in students so that they would drive the spirit of growth of our economy and would be able to generate employment opportunities for other qualified and skilled people.

I personally look forward to integrate my experience over the years in teaching, industry and research into the learning systems and direct the collective efforts of the faculty at the college to build a comprehensive methodology that encompasses all that matters for nurturing the minds of our students. I look forward for preparing my students to face the challenges the technology and engineering sector would offer in the future and succeed in offering technology solutions for the betterment of the society and our nation.
